Boat Buying Process

Initial Visit
The potential Buyer is welcome to visit the boat. The potential Buyer may visit again if desired.

Contract and Deposit
Once both Buyer and Seller agree on the price, a contract is signed, and a deposit of 10% of the agreed price is required.

Sea Trial and Final Inspection
After receipt of the deposit, we can arrange a complimentary sea trial for the Buyer, lasting about a few hours.
Should the Buyer wish to have the boat lifted out of the water for a more thorough inspection, this can be arranged at the marina for an additional fee, payable by the Buyer.
The Buyer may request a refund of the deposit only if an independent professional marine surveyor’s written report, delivered within 10 days after the survey, confirms the presence of material defects or failures that significantly impair the vessel’s structural integrity.

Minor or cosmetic defects, normal wear and tear — shall not constitute grounds for deposit refund or price adjustment. The vessel is sold as inspected, and the Buyer accepts the condition at the time of inspection.

Completion and Handover
The Buyer transfers the remaining balance and receives the keys.
